WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We met through a mutual friend who showed me Nicky's Facebook profile and I sent her a text on 26 September 2017.

After a few texts we arranged to meet at The Boat Mindarie and had a couple of drinks and a good chat, on the way out we bumped into Nicky's Son Daniel and Chelsea his now fiancé, who were there just by coincidence, eventually, many years later he confessed he was waiting to check me out.

Meals drinks and nights out ensued and for some odd reason we liked each other and eventually we moved in together and 7 years later, here we are getting married.

The proposal

After Richards initial operation in August 2023 we decided to go away to Karri Valley for a long weekend. 

Up until this point we had both dismissed getting married again as we were no spring chickens and had both been married before, however due to Richards illness life seemed too short to miss out on opportunities so Richard simply blurted out "will you marry me", and thankfully Nicky agreed.

Nothing particularly romantic, no pre-bought ring, no grand gestures, just a genuine desire to spend the rest of our lives together.
